e-Advocacy for NGOs
For the past few years, we have provided trainings and consultancy on the use of ICT by NGOs in Southeast Asia. In Malaysia, Sisters in Islam and the Centre for Policy Initiative are examples of how e-advocacy has created awareness and impact amongst the citizens on their advocacy goals. We have also supported other NGO groups in the Mekong region such as through the ICT Mekong Camps that brings together important NGOs from the region every 2 years.
For our upcoming activities, we will partner with Internews to deliver trainings in Southern Thailand, and plans are under way for the establishment of an advocacy lab in Malaysia, and a capacity building project in Afghanistan. I
